Bolt Action Rifle FPS Animation Bring responsive first-person bolt-action rifle handling to your Unity project with Bolt Action Rifle FPS Animation by Gamma Studio. This package provides a complete first-person bolt-action rifle animation showcase designed for previewing and demonstrating firearm handling in an FPS environment. It includes movement animations, hip and aimed firing with a full bolt cycle on every shot, aim-down-sight transitions, reload animation, melee attacks, weapon inspection, selection, deselection, and jump/run/walk transitions. The rifle is animated separately from the hands. The arms and the weapon are driven by two Animators kept in step by shared parameters, so the bolt, bolt handle, trigger, loose rounds and ejecting cartridge move independently of the hands rather than being baked into the hand animation. The Unity implementation is built as a lightweight preview setup using Unity 2022.3 LTS and the Legacy Input Manager, making it simple to test, study, and modify. Key Features First-person bolt-action rifle animation set 25 included animations (20 arms, 5 weapon) Weapon animated separately from the hands, on its own Animator Full bolt cycle on every shot, hip and aimed Multiple aimed firing animation variations Aim Down Sight (ADS) animation support with FOV blend Reload animation for the rifle, with a 5-round internal magazine Melee attack animation Weapon inspect animation Idle, walk, run, and jump animations Select and deselect animations Simple FPS movement controller Clean C# scripts with modular structure Illustrated PDF guide with the full animation list, lengths and frame counts Designed for animation preview and showcase purposes Included Systems FPS Controller A simple first-person controller for previewing animations in an interactive scene. Includes: WASD movement Mouse look Jumping Running Gravity handling Spine-driven look so the arms follow the aim direction Animator parameter updates Bolt Action Rifle Controller Handles rifle animation inputs and weapon preview logic. Includes: Weapon firing with a full bolt cycle on every shot Reload animation trigger with automatic reload when empty Aim Down Sight (ADS) system with FOV and camera offset blend Melee attack input and animation Weapon inspect animation Animation variation system for aimed fire to prevent repetition Loose rounds on the stock hidden during reload so they do not overlap the reload animation Weapon Animator The rifle carries its own Animator and its own animation clips, triggered by the same inputs as the hands. Includes: Bolt and bolt handle animation Trigger animation Cartridge ejection Loose round animation during reload Weapon clips prepared so the rifle stays attached to the hand throughout playback Animation List This package includes 25 rifle animations. It is not intended to be a complete production-ready weapon framework. The included scripts are lightweight and created to demonstrate the animations in Unity. There is no pooling, networking, input abstraction, state validation, recoil or spread model. Developers can expand or replace the controller, input, weapon, and gameplay systems depending on their project requirements. The animations and meshes are the product of this package. The scripts exist so you can see them running in context. The rig is Generic, built on an Unreal-style FPS arms skeleton. It is not a Humanoid avatar, so the clips will not retarget to a Humanoid rig. The package targets the Built-in Render Pipeline. Materials use the Standard shader, so URP and HDRP work after Unity's material upgrade. The audio included in the demo scene is placeholder only and is not licensed for distribution in your project.
