Asset description

SandFlow can turn an area of the scene into a vivid beach miniature: a real-time GPU shallow water solver fully implemented with computational shaders, combined with transport simulation of granular sand. Water body. Shallow water cores based on mass conservation (Rusanov flux, positive-definite reconstructions) drive waves, waves, scour, and backflow. Procedurally generated ripples, light spots, bubbles, waves, and splashes are layered on top of the simulated water surface. Parameters such as water level, wave amplitude, and drift ripples can all be adjusted in real time. Sand. Sand erodes, moves with the current and deposits: digging channels to see how the sea shapes coastlines; building dykes to see how they actually break. Wet sand darkens and its surface becomes smooth, while dry sand retains aeolian ripples. Interaction. The demo version has a complete set of tools built in: scooping and dumping real-volume shovels, castle molds, terrain brushes, cannons, draggable rocks and props that can literally drain the water and leave recoverable traces; and floating objects with buoyancy and wake. Adjustment. The in-game control panel provides adjustment of simulation parameters and visual effects, supports persistent settings, map presets (beach, river, lagoon, atoll) and camera control. Provided as clean C# compute/shader source code, including a complete interactive demo scene and a standalone build entry point.
